At year end, StatoilHydro had almost 103,400 other shareholders registered in the Norwegian Central Securities Depository.

Some of these shareholders are so-called nominee accounts, and the actual number of shareholders is therefore greater.

At year end 2008, approximately 14,330 employees of the company were participant in StatoilHydro's share savings programme, which was introduced in 2004.

For 2008, the board of directors has proposed an ordinary dividend of NOK 4.40 per share and an extraordinary dividend of NOK 2.85 per share.

In 2008 StatoilHydro paid NOK 1.88 billion in interest on loans. Interest paid on long term loans amounted to NOK 1.67 billion, while total interest paid on accrued interest on liabilities and derivatives was NOK 215 million.
