Involvement of our employees plays an important role in fulfilling our policy to seek low-carbon and energy efficient solutions in all areas of our business. We believe that employees' own personal focus and involvement in these issues will make a useful contribution to the company's work on addressing the climate challenges we are facing.

In August 2008 we established a climate panel consisting of representatives of the top management from our business areas, and invited all employees to submit suggestions to the panel on how we can reduce our carbon footprint. The campaign resulted in 250 concrete suggestions covering themes such as our policy, energy saving and energy efficiency, transport, renewable energy, waste reduction and so on. These suggestions are being evaluated by the panel with the aim of implementing selected suggestions.
