The organisation is independent of any government, financial agents, political persuasion or religious creed.

StatoilHydro has a corporate agreement with Amnesty International Norway.

StatoilHydro regularly consults with Amnesty International on questions related to business' responsibility for human rights issues, and also receives access to information about the human rights situation in the countries where we operate.

Through the agreement StatoilHydro also provides support to Amnesty International Norway's work on preventing and campaigning against human rights violations worldwide.
