NRC promotes and protects the rights of people who have been forced to flee their countries, or their homes within their countries. The NRC has a staff of approximately 2000 spread around 20 countries in Africa, Asia, America and Europe.

StatoilHydro has a corporate agreement in support of NRC's activities. We regularly consult the NRC on humanitarian and human rights issues, and benefit from their in-depth country-context expertise relevant to our operations.
