Partnering Against Corruption Initiative (PACI)

The Partnering Against Corruption Initiative (PACI) was initiated during the World Economic Forum annual meeting in January 2004.
The PACI's mission is to develop multi-industry principles and practices that will result in a competitive level playing field, based on integrity, fairness and ethical conduct.

The Initiative is based on a commitment to zero-tolerance towards bribery and a commitment to implement a practical and effective anti-corruption program within the company.

The principles are derived from the Transparency International's Business Principles for Countering Bribery, which StatoilHydro has been actively involved in developing.

StatoilHydro signed on to the PACI in 2005.
