Statoil, through its Heroes of Tomorrow program, is sponsoring science education, sports and culture. Statoil wants to contribute to children and youth being given the opportunity to develop their talent, be it in the lab, at the stadium or on stage.
Sponsorships
Criteria:
- Sponsorships must include a project focusing on talent development for children and/or youth.
- Applications from the following three areas may be submitted: Science education, sports and culture.
Statoil does not sponsor:
- Applications that do not have children and/or youth as a defined target group
- Applications submitted through alternative channels
- Individuals/groups that are not part of an organization/club
- Cash payments
- Single travels
- Religious organizations
- Political organizations
- Activities that may be harmful to persons or the environment. Including, but not limited to, martial arts and motor sports
- Buildings/infrastructure/maintenance/administration
- Humanitarian organizations and NGOs
Monetary donations
Statoil does not donate to:
- Applications submitted through alternative channels
- Cash payments
- Single travels
- Religious organizations
- Political organizations
- Activities that may be harmful to persons or the environment. Including, but not limited to, martial arts and motor sports
- Buildings/infrastructure/maintenance/administration
Disciplinary conferences
Comprise trade-shows, exhibitions, conferences, seminars and alike
Criteria:
- Events that advocate professional fields/subjects important for the oil- and gas industry
- Events that contribute to improved cooperation and understanding between entities in the oil- and gas industry
- Events that improve collaboration between the oil- and gas industry, research institutions and academic institutions with regards to oil- and gas subjects.
