Statoil's biggest activities are located in Norway with corporate functions both in Stavanger and Oslo.

We are the largest operator on the Norwegian continental shelf, and a license holder in numerous oil and gas fields. Our onshore facilities in Norway are active within such areas as gas treatment, crude oil reception, refinement and methanol production.

Statoil also has the technical responsibility for the world’s most extensive subsea pipeline system for the transport of gas.
