At Statoil we take pride in ensuring that all our new colleagues get off to a good start. To achieve this we offer a structured corporate induction programme called YOU – You're One of Us.
Our overall aim is to ensure that you feel welcome and comfortable in our organisation and to help you live our value-based performance culture as quickly as possible.
Under the umbrella term 'YOU – You’re One of Us' you will find the corporate induction programme “The Statoil way” which consists of two core learning programmes. “The Statoil way” aims to increase your basic knowledge and understanding of our company. In addition, we offer a range of selected learning programmes geared towards business area and role specific learning.
Introducing the Statoil way
This mandatory induction course consists of two parts: e-learning self-study and task solution. We recommend you go through this package within the first two weeks of starting with us. The content deals with learning elements such as Statoil’s history, our culture, values, strategy, health, safety and the environment (HSE), organisation and people.
Understanding the Statoil way
This is a two-day corporate workshop (nomination by line manager). It builds on “Introducing the Statoil way” and will deepen your understanding of who we are and how we work as well as helping you build relevant networks.
The workshop is followed by a one-day HSE course.
