Stavanger Art Museum and the Statoil art programme are pleased to invite you to Helsinki10 – Contemporary photography and video from The Helsinki School in the Statoil art collection.

We are delighted to present 10 Finnish artists with distinguished talent:
Elina Brotherus, Ilkka Halso, Tiina Itkonen, Aino Kannisto, Hannu Karjalainen, Kalle Kataila, Pertti Kekarainen, Ola Kolehmainen, Anni Leppälä and Susanna Majuri.

The Helsinki School is a driving force in the development of international contemporary fine art photography and video. These 10 artists either taught, graduated or are studying at the Aalto University School of Art and Design (formerly the University of Art and Design in Helsinki). Where are they now, and where are they taking their artistic expressions?
