  Carlos Gil has an MSc in Geology from IFP (Institut Francais du Petrole). He joined Statoil in 2005. He works as an exploration geologist in the regional group of the North Sea.

  Irene Castillo has an MSc in Petroleum Economics and Management from Colorado School of Mines and Institute Francais du Petrole. She joined Statoil in 2008 as a Corporate Trainee and is currently working as a drilling economist for exploration wells in the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

  Aleksandra Szkatula has MSc in Energy Management (Catholic University in Leuven, Belgium) and bachelor in Energy Production (Silesian University of Technology, Poland). She joined Statoil in 2008. She has worked in Natural Gas in Portfolio Management group, balancing Statoil’s gas portfolio on the NCS.

  Terje Schmidt has a MsC from the University in Bergen and has worked more than 25 years with Statoil in different positions and is currently heading the IOR (increased recovery) Corporate Initiative.

  Frode Støylen

  Frode Støylen finished his studies with a Masters degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology from the Department of Production and Quality Engineering. He started in Statoil in the summer of 2009. He works with Quality and Risk Management in projects and is now working in an early phase development project as part of the project management team.

  Jan Rune Schøpp was appointed Vice President of Natural Gas, Strategy and Analysis in 2007.  Before that Mr. Schøpp held several positions in Statoil’s Gas Division and was Vice President Natural Gas Trading between 2004 and 2007.

  Geir Elseth holds a PhD in production technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He joined Statoil in 2007 and before that he has 7 years experience from Hydro within the area of flow assurance. He is now working with increased oil recovery and technology development for inflow control from reservoir to well.

  Senior Vice President Ivar Aasheim is currently heading Operations North in Stjørdal.

  Aasheim has more than 20 years experience from different positions in the upstream business at the Norwegian Continental Shelf. Before starting his North Sea career he worked for Shell international in the far east. Mr Aasheim earned his Master of Science in petroleum engineering from NTH in Trondheim in 1982.
