This won them the title of StatoilHydro’s "rig of the year" for 2008 and a contribution to the welfare fund aboard.

It was also named "rig of the month" in five out of the eight months it has been under StatoilHydro commission in 2008.

Mr Grant says that the award meant a lot for personal pride and morale on board. "You always feel a sense of responsibility when things go wrong, so it’s gratifying to succeed when you manage to do the job so well."
