Skirne
Skirne gas and condensate field is located around 140 kilometres north-west of Stavanger. Discovered in 1990, the field is developed with two subsea wells, Skirne and Byggve, which are tied to the Heimdal platform. The field came on stream on 3 March 2004.
The wellstream is piped to Heimdal for processing. The gas is transported in the Statpipe or Vesterled pipelines, while the condensate is sent via the Brae/Forties system to the UK.
