The project takes part in technology surveillance, including new catalysts, catalysts for new processes and catalyst improvements.
Catalyst recommendations for the plants are included in the activity. For this purpose, in-house testing is required for key catalysts.
An example of this is the gradient-free Berty reactor, used for testing activity, stability and by-product formation for commercial methanol synthesis catalysts for Tjeldbergodden.
