Learning is an important part of our art programme concept.

People’s attitudes, competence level, working patterns and technological progress require far more than just displaying art on a wall.
For this reason, we are constantly experimenting with different ways to facilitate learning and involvement.
Our learning concept comprises the following:
Art walk: Regular guided tours of the collection, both for our own people and the public. Guided tours are available upon request, please contact artprog@statoil.com.
Art talk: Targeted learning session as an integrated part of our exhibitions. An exhibition always includes a learning programme.
Art spotlight: Special learning events which address important contemporary art issues.
Art impulse: Learning sessions which form an integrated part of our internal leadership development programmes and other internal learning programmes.
Dialogue is at the heart of our learning approach – the sharing of ideas and perspectives through an open and challenging two-way communication. Knowledge is a door which swings both ways between “student” and “teacher”.
