Significant parts of Statoil's gas production reach Germany's north-west coast through Gassled’s Norpipe, Europipe I and Europipe II trunklines.
From Dornum the transportation system of Statoil takes gas further into Germany.
The transport system has become an integral part of the market area of northern Germany. This is the first market area which was set up by multiple transport system operators. German partners are Gasunie Deutschland and DONG Energy Pipelines.
The market area of northern Germany provides entry and exit capacities as well as a virtual trading point and several services for customers.
