Statoil established its Indonesia office in 2007, and has since then built an exploration portfolio in a systematic manner.

As oil and gas exploration in Indonesia is now shifting to the eastern region of the country where most of the new areas are located offshore, Statoil as a leading international deep water operator, now has 40 employees in Jakarta, Indonesia, is eyeing the potential growth.
