Quarterly results

• First quarter 2007Statoil’s net income in the first quarter of 2007 amounted to NOK 7.8 billion, compared to NOK 10.8 billion in the first quarter of 2006.
• Second quarter 2007Statoil’s net income in the second quarter of 2007 amounted to NOK 11.0 billion, compared to NOK 9.8 billion in the second quarter of 2006.
• Fourth quarter 2006The Statoil group had a net income of NOK 40.6 billion in 2006, compared to NOK 30.7 billion in 2005.
