Recognition

Accolade for art award

Statoil received a diploma for its Statoil Art Award 2009 catalogue in Scandinavia's largest annual visual communication event, Visuelt 2010. Statoil and the young Norwegian designer Steffen Kørner Ludvigsen, was presented with the award during a ceremony at Christiania Theatre in Oslo on 7 May 2010.

Most beautiful book of the year

Pieces of energy won first prize in the photography / art book category at the Most Beautiful Books of the Year event in Oslo on 2 April 2009. Organised by the National Library, the Norwegian Publishers Association and the Norwegian association for drawing artists (Tegnerforbundet), the competition attracted entries from 325 books competing in 14 different categories.

Gold for design

Pieces of energy and its designers won first prize in the catalogues and brochures category in the visual competition during Oslo’s annual Visual Days event in May 2009. Organised by Grafill, a Norwegian organisation for visual communication, this ranks as the largest annual visual communication event in the Nordic countries.
